RKZ-22
The task of the tray & hood case packaging system is to count out the desired number of unit packages, arrange them in a specific configuration, and then pack them into a pre-formed case. This box is then closed.
The machine is equipped with two magazines for manual insertion of flat cardboard blanks. The case consists of a tray and a lid that is placed on the outside.

- 2x carton magazine, for manual insertion of flat cardboard blanks
- The time needed to change-over the machine to a different format is approximately 40-60 minutes
- Index carton feeder with stations: feeding, filling, forming and closing the case
- Vacuum generator for feeding blanks from the carton magazine
- PLC control with a color touch panel on a rotating arm
- FESTO pneumatics

- Capacity up to 18 master cartons/min.
Grouping system:
- A section of shooting conveyors feeding the product at the appropriate speed to the grouping system
- Grouping system: placing individual products vertically and counting them via an index conveyor
- Pushing the product out of the index conveyor in the desired quantity and creating groups
Cartoning system:
- Feeding blanks from the carton magazine using an electric arm with vacuum suction cups
- Moving a group of products into a preformed case
- Feed arm equipped with a mechanism for squeezing a group of products using a FESTO pneumatic drive
- Applying a glue line to the side flaps of the tray while the carton is passing through
- Closing the walls of the box using closing mechanisms
- A system supporting correct gluing equipped with vacuum suction cups
- Applying glue during the passage of the lid forming head
- Forming and gluing the lid onto the previously created tray
- Discharging finished cases from the cartoning section onto a short outtake conveyor
