• Forming wrap-around cardboard and open tray from flat cardboard cuts
• wrap-around carton warehouse, for manual insertion of flat cardboard cuts – warehouse length ~800mm
• The time needed to change-over the machine to a different format is approximately 40-60 minutes
• The machine is adapted to the following types of master carton - wrap-around and open tray
• Index carton feeder with stations: feeding, filling, forming and closing the case
• Vacuum generator for feeding blanks from the carton magazine

Grouping system:

• A section of conveyors that shoot the product at the appropriate speed into the grouping system
• Grouping system: placing individual products vertically and counting them via an index conveyor
• Pushing the product from the index conveyor in the desired quantity and creating groups via the comb driver mechanism
• The comb driver mechanism is equipped with an anti-collision system based on FESTO pneumatics

Cartoning system:

• Feeding blanks from the carton magazine using an electric arm with vacuum suction cups
• Moving a group of products into a preformed case using a servo motor driven feed arm
• Feed arm equipped with a mechanism for squeezing a group of products using a FESTO pneumatic drive
• Applying a glue path to the upper flap of the box using an electric drive mechanism with a glue gun
• Applying a glue line to the side flaps while the cardboard is passing through
• Closing the walls of the box using the closing head
• Sealed gluing support system equipped with vacuum suction cups
• Discharging finished cases from the cartoning section onto a short outtake conveyor
• Sensors detecting the correct sealing of the carton (only lower side flaps), after detecting an unglued carton, the machine goes into auto stop, triggers a light and sound alarm and displays an appropriate message on the HMI panel
